A Cheyenne wooden frame cradleboard of two splayed, vertical slats with cross boards at the head and base. The cradleboard has a rawhide hood and leather body with faded blue cotton flannel lining. Between the leather and the frame is a red, green and white floral fabric pillow. The hood and the body are beaded with glass seed beads sewn with a lazy stitch. The design is composed of a white ground with triangular, diamond and forked motifs in red, yellow, green and blue. There are five pairs of leather ties on the cover. One pair of ties has blue and pink ribbons. There are four additional sets of ribbons on the hood in brown, green, pink and white (from left to right). A wide, dark blue ribbon forms a "V" on top of the vertical slats. The wood is stained yellow on the top and red on the edges. The hood is edged with a bead covered piece of ferrous metal painted black. 38.5 in. (l) x 24 in. (w) x 9.25 in. (d).
