The piece depicts one slightly larger than life pronghorn with two scenes of problematic fence crossings for the pronghorn on a Wyoming plains landscape. It is a symbol of human and wildlife interactions, and how it is not always evident how much we affect our native species.

The inspiration for this piece is a problem that many pronghorn in our state are facing. Their migratory routes are being fractionated by fences. Pronghorn are unable to jump many of these fences and get caught up in them which can result in injury and sometimes death.
