A pair of Sioux men's moccasins. The moccasins are constructed from a tanned leather upper with an added split "V" tongue, rawhide soles and thong tie with a full, beaded border. The border is of light blue beads with dark blue triangles alternating with yellow, dark blue and red "cross" shapes. The heel area contains a red quilled band. The vamp has a red quilled ground with three dark blue and white boxes. The tongue has an orange quilled ground with remnants of metal and feather tinklers. The tie is wrapped with orange quills., This file is derived from a 720 dpi, high-resolution (24-bit color) uncompressed TIFF image, that was scanned from the original slide using a Nikon LS-2000 slide scanner.
