APREA code development was not completed in late March as we had hoped, and it is still in the debug/validation stage. Revisions and extensions to the code specified by the TPO require some time to implement, and project personnel have had to divert time to other tasks, but we foresee no obstacles to the completion of code development. We should be ready to begin full-scale data processing by late April. In case the Phase I data set transcribed by the TPO is not available at that time, we have selected a subset from our present Phase I data deck for analysis. This subset contains 45 runs which meet the criteria for "partial" or "complete" data. Use of this subset to exercise APREA will help verify that the code works well on many diverse problems, and some of the input defects we will diagnose will also exist in data from the TPO.
